Teknoware Modern Continuous LED Light Lines for Helsinki Metro Trains.

Teknoware has supplied modern continuous LED light lines for 20 new Helsinki metro trains. The light lines illuminate the aisles of the coaches in addition to the advertising signs on the walls. The design of the new light line required a wide range of expertise in both electronics and optics so that the lighting is distributed evenly between the aisles and the advertising signs. By changing the aluminium luminaire profile’s properties, it was possible to optimise the amount of light sources and the weight of the light fixture, as well as to minimise the wiring. The delivery also included dimmable cab lighting.
