Wide Range of High-Performance Self-Contained Luminaires

In a self-contained system, each luminaire has its own back up power source—in the case of our self-contained luminaires, this is a supercapacitor or a battery, which makes self-contained luminaires particularly suitable for the emergency lighting needs of smaller sites.

Self-contained luminaires can, however, also be used for very large emergency lighting projects by combining supercapacitor technology with our wireless AaltoCtrl remote monitoring system and LumiTest functionality. LumiTest, which is included in all our self-contained luminaires, monitors and tests luminaires automatically and reliably. Such technologies also enable the use of modern emergency lights and emergency exit lights in large renovation projects without the need for additional cabling.

Teknoware self-contained luminaires, along with all their accessories, spare parts, and related technologies are designed and manufactured in our own factory in Finland. The luminaires are designed and tested to ensure that they meet the high quality standards set for them.

Escap self-contained luminaires have up to 12 years extended warranty

Teknoware Escap is an environmentally friendly, battery-free solution for emergency lighting with supercapacitor backup. All Escap luminaires have a 12-Year (2+10) Warranty Scheme, which covers the backup power source, the supercapacitors, as well as the light source, the LEDs. Escap emergency and emergency exit lights are practically maintenance-free throughout the product lifetime.
