Cooperation in German markets since 2018, with Willing becoming Teknoware in 2025

Dr. Ing. Willing GmbH, a renowned German supplier of emergency lighting solutions, successfully serving the German market for over 40 years, has been majority-owned by Teknoware Oy since 2018. In 2025, Teknoware acquired full ownership of Willing, and the company started to operate under the new name: Teknoware Deutschland GmbH. In 2025, the Willing brand and its product selection will integrate into Teknoware, marking a new phase in the company’s 40-year history. The headquarters of Teknoware Deutschland GmbH is located in Berlin.

Teknoware founded in Finland—and now on three continents

Teknoware Deutschland GmbH is one of several Teknoware subsidiaries around the world. Teknoware began operations in Finland in 1972 and over the last fifty years has become a leading supplier of lighting and interior solutions for vehicles and a major supplier of emergency lighting for buildings and ships.
